Description
Responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and developing a program for treatment of athletic injuries under supervision of a licensed physician.
Tasks
- Assess and determine the severity of the athletic injury.
- Design and lead customized rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from injuries.
- Educate patients and athletes on injury prevention, proper techniques for physical activities, and stretching.
- Offer immediate care for acute injuries that may occur during physical activities or sports.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Athletic Training
- Current Pennsylvania Athletic Trainer Licensure
- Healthcare provider CPR Certification through the American Heart Association within the first year of hire
