Description

Responsible for providing assistance to the Administrator in managing day-to-day operations through adherence to residents’ rights, government regulations, policies and emergency guidelines and procedures. You will perform assigned clerical duties needed to effectively and efficiently manager the daily operations and oversee basic facility operations in the absence of the Administrator.

Tasks

  • Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring accurate scheduling, and confirming appointments via phone or email.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of insurance claims.
  • Complete intake forms, verifying personal and insurance information, and entering this data into the system.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous Personal Care Home experience preferred
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment; Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
