Description
The Finance Director is responsible for developing and overseeing all matters related to Workforce Solutions revenues and expenditures; including reporting, account reconciliation, liabilities, and all other related fiscal duties.
Tasks
- Oversee and lead the annual budgeting and planning process including monitoring progress and changes, preparing modifications to the budgets, and keep the Executive Director and Finance Committee abreast of the organizations financial status; including the six PA CareerLink® Operating budgets
- Lead the annual planning and budgeting process for the six PA CareerLink® Operating budgets including monitoring progress and changes, and preparing modifications as necessary
- Complete Financial Status Reports to the state in CWDS; Quarterly WIOA budget and expenditure reports; and secure WDB and CEO approvals; as well as other required fiscal reporting
- Prepare request for funds (CWDS) from the state for WIOA, DHS and other contract expenditures; monitor drawdowns and expenditures for each contract and reconcile records
- Develop, update and implement all necessary fiscal policies and accounting practices according to applicable policies and regulations
- Manage multiple bank accounts; records and financial transactions
- Review, approve and code all vendor invoices to the proper funding streams and expense accounts

Bachelor’s degree (or related experience) in business, finance, accounting, or a related field;
