Description

Provide direct treatment services to children, adolescents, and families. This position uses the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy model and other treatment modalities.

Tasks

  • Evaluates and assesses needs and goals for the family.
  • Creates treatment and safety plans, provides case management and plans discharge for assigned cases.
  • Monitors client records and day-to-day documentation.
  • Maintains communication and coordination of services with collateral agencies.
  • Participates in the on-call rotation as assigned.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a social service-related field (e.g. psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, education, theology or anthropology plus 1 year experience in a CASSP system program, or psychiatric nursing, premed) required; or, 12 college level semester hours in humanities or social services plus 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program and be enrolled for certification by OMH as a mental health family-based worker; or, Licensed RN plus have 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program and be enrolled for certification by Office of Mental Health as a mental health family-based worker
