HAB Supervisor

The Home & Community Habilitation (H & C) Program Director is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the In-Home & Community Supports program. The H & C program provides a variety of supportive services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, in Elk, Cameron, Potter, and McKean Counties. The Program Director supervises staff, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, monitors financial performance, and ensures that services delivered meet agency and regulatory standards.

• Models and fosters an organizational culture of respect, cooperation, and service excellence.
• Monitors utilization of authorized units per fiscal year and financial performance of program; actively seeks referrals to ensure a consistent census is maintained.
• Monitors regulatory landscape to be up to date on any legislative or regulation changes, which affect the program or industry in general.
• Following agency procedures and with appropriate agency guidance, manages staffing activities for program personnel: hiring, onboarding, training, work assignment, supervision, performance evaluations, disciplinary issues, terminations, etc.
• Holds regular staff meetings with program staff, and ensures communication of agency information during these meetings.

• Bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or, Two Years' experience as a Direct Service Provider in Personal Care or IDD service provision
• Two years of professional experience in public or private in home services provision; or, Equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences
• Valid driver's license
