Psychological Technician

Responsible for the management of an assigned caseload of clientele for initial and ongoing assessments, individual and group therapy, utilizing specialized therapeutic techniques and models that may require certifications, and assisting in the consultation and training of therapeutic staff.

• Provide clinical oversight and supervision to the psychiatrist(s) and mid-level practitioner(s) in accordance with established standards of practice as clinically indicated.
• Participate as an active member of the administrative team to ensure compliance with psychiatric practice standards established through policy and procedure.
• Function as a role model in the area of psychiatric practice, patient centered care and patient advocacy.
• Consult with clinical staff as necessary regarding active patients.

• Master’s Degree in a psychology or social work related field
• Licensed in psychology or social work (LPC or LCSW) is required
• Prior experience utilizing assessment tools, scoring and analyzing assessment tools, and writing assessments is required
• Experience utilizing the DSM diagnostic methodology and ability to complete written orders for community-based programs is required
