Description

Responsible for managing the clinical practices of the Deerfield Behavioral Health, including contracts for clinical resources to affiliated and non-affiliated providers, scheduling, payroll, billing and relationships with clinicians and organizations using their time. Additionally, the Clinical Practice Manager is responsible for assisting with practitioner credentialing with payers, PROMISe enrollment, and revalidation for all clinical practitioners at DBHW. The Clinical Practice Manager is responsible for contracting themselves out to do Family Advocacy for an affiliated organization for a portion of their work week. In this role they are responsible for serving as the liaison between the individual, his/her family or legal guardians and governing systems, school or other social service organizations. The goal is to provide families with support and assistance in accessing necessary services. Additionally, psychiatric providers often need assistance in locating resources within the environments they work within, so this is a valuable adjunct skill set for this position.

Tasks

  • Recovery education should span every phase of the recovery journey from possible pre-contemplation of needed changes to maintenance and sustained recovery. Work with patients to develop a written, individualized, strength-based service plan. Continue to work within this framework and adapt when necessary.
  • Assist patients with developing self-awareness to include identifying patients abilities, strengths, assets and necessary areas of change.
  • Promote self-empowerment
  • Provide recovery education in a group setting on and off campus.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor's Degree with two years of experience in business/clinical practice management; or; High School diploma with five years of business/clinical practice management experience Healthcare business office or contract experience strongly preferred
