Description

Responsible for supervising craft employees and performing advanced journeyman-level electrical maintenance work, including troubleshooting, project leadership, PLC and HMI programming, and electrical system support. This position helps lead safety meetings, delegates daily work, works with contractors, and ensures electrical maintenance tasks are completed safely and correctly. 

Tasks

Supervise craft employees, fill in for the supervisor, and delegate daily work. 
 Perform assigned electrical maintenance and troubleshooting work. 
 Lead safety meetings and identify relevant safety topics when needed. 
 Work with and oversee contractors. 
 Lead specific on-the-job training opportunities. 
 Perform PLC and HMI programming. 
 Use electrical tools, testing equipment, shop equipment, manlifts, forklifts, and other equipment safely.

Qualifications / Education

High School Diploma required. 
 Electrical certification required. 
 70E Low Voltage Training required. 
 70E High Voltage Training required. 
 Class B CDL preferred or required. 
 Qualified rigger/signal training preferred or required. 
 6–8 years of experience preferred. 
 Minimum 3 years at ARG preferred but not required. 
 Experience with electrical drawings, conduit installation, troubleshooting, NEC code book, motor controls, Allen Bradley systems, refinery substations, UPS/battery backup systems, NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, and reliability-centered maintenance preferred. 
 Experience with Microsoft Suite, time entry, ADP, SafetyAmp, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, RSStudio5000, RSNetWorx, Fluke Energy Analyze, Flir software, SEL Quickset, Beijer IX Developer, Drive Executive, and CMMS preferred.
