Description
Responsible for performing journeyman-level electrical maintenance work, including troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and support of electrical systems. This position works with increasing independence, follows all safety procedures, prioritizes assigned work, and helps ensure electrical equipment operates safely and reliably.
Tasks
Perform assigned electrical maintenance and repair work.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and support equipment reliability.
Complete preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
Follow all safety rules, housekeeping practices, and PPE requirements.
Use electrical tools, shop equipment, manlifts, forklifts, and other equipment safely.
Prioritize assigned work and manage time effectively.
Complete required training and support team members when needed.
Qualifications / Education
High School Diploma required.
Journeyman II level electrical experience preferred.
Electrical maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to work with others and communicate effectively.
Ability to prioritize work and solve problems.
Basic Microsoft Suite experience preferred.
Certifications such as manlift, scissor lift, and forklift may be required or preferred.
