Concrete Mason/Carpenter Journeyman III

Description

Proficient Journeyman Carpenter/Mason; to build, finish or repair all types of masonry work, concrete pads, pump blocks, building and tank foundations, stations, concrete floors, pads, sidewalks, curbing, roads, also brick and block, estimating skills and scheduling materials for all jobs.  Coordinates and leads all concrete jobs

Tasks

Proficient on pulling heat exchanger bundles, testing for leaks and reassembly

Demonstrate ability to work independently, collaboratively &/or coordinate, as well as direct the work of other; trains & mentors others in craft. 

Proficient in the safe use of all shop equipment and hand tools including JLG manlift, fork lifts and use of and care for all building trade tools such as electrical, air, gasoline or hand operated or any other equipment necessary to perform job

SME for laying floor & wall tiles, hanging and finishing drywall (includes painting) and conducting minor roof repairs; serves to train and mentor others.

Complete accurate material lists and order with effective communication.

Provide accurate time estimates & meet deadlines (set deadlines).

Work effectively along side contractors to complete tasks or projects where appropriate. 

Serve as contract coordinator as needed.

Qualifications / Education

10+ years experience 
High School Diploma
Apprenticeship or Associate/Trade Certificate desired
Confined Space/Rope Rescue Certified
SME Scaffolding Competent User & Inspector/Erector
JLG & Forklift certified
Confined Space Rope Rescue certified
Qualified Rigger/Signal Person 
Trench Rescue Certified
CAT Basic User/Operator Training
