Description

Master fabricator using work orders, isometric drawings, blueprints, sketches and other related documentation. Master in understanding refer to and use industry standards for pipe specs and welding codes. Master taking field measurements to determine, length, angles and other dimensions to properly fit for job or task.

Tasks

Master taking shop/field measurements to determine, length, angles and other dimensions to properly fit for job or task.

Proficiency  in welding  metal materials using any combination of arc welding processing, stick weld pipe and structure and learn TIG weld.

Understand and follow lockout/tagout procedures and open line/entry permit requirements.

Completes assigned maintenance welding repairs and project work.

Collaborate with other trades or departments regarding weld repairs and projects

Install, repair and maintain all piping systems and vessels with pressures up to 1500 psi and temp up to 1200 degrees F.

Master in positioning pieces to be welded, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools 

Qualifications / Education

8-10 years experience
Minimum 3 years @ARG, preferred but not required.  
High School Diploma
Welding Apprenticeship,  Associate or Trade Certificate Preferred
Qualified Rigger/Signal Training
Maintain 9 ton Carry-deck qualification - quarterly refresher training
Maintain certification Manlift, Scissor lift, Forklift
Leadership Training
Safety Amp Instructor
Public speaking training - CBT
Prior experience as a Journeyman III
