Description
The Millwright Journeman I is responsible to maintain various types of rotating equipment, which includes pumps, steam turbines, gear boxes, fans, blowers, mixers, and compressors.
Perform hands on maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment, repairs, and documentation on the rotating equipment. Ensure proper installation of equipment to design and standards. Perform hands-on shop and field disassembly, inspection, reporting, cleaning, and reassembly of rotating equipment.

Tasks
Ensure work and materials comply with manufacturer specifications;
Read and interpret schematics for assembly, repair, and reassembly.
Complete quality documents and feedback forms electronically or on paper.
Perform routine safety observations and inspections daily.
Use laser tools to align equipment to industry standards.
Collect vibration data monthly or more often as needed.
Enter and retrieve data using the FT Maintenance system.
Read and interpret schematics for assembly, repair, and reassembly.

Qualifications / Education
High school diploma/GED with Millwright certification preferred. (2 year certificate program)
3-6 years working with rotating equipment in a refinery or chemical plant.
