Machinery Lubrication Technician

Description
Responsible for the lubrication of equipment, contamination control, inspection, and proactive maintenance activities for all lubricated mechanical systems throughout the refinery. Individuals in this role will execute tasks in accordance with the monthly preventative maintenance schedule and serve to assist the Millwright & Machinist team with daily duties &/or jobs. Perform field level oil analysis, looking for moisture, debris, discoloration, or any other abnormality.
Tasks
Troubleshoot common lubrication-related procedural and equipment problems.
Disassemble, clean, inspect, lubricate, and reinstall couplers (grid, chain, Etc.)
Modify mechanical systems as directed to facilitate sampling and filtration, and other proactive improvements.
Safe and effective use of tools and equipment for routine and non-routine lubrication functions.
Select appropriate filtration media, and/or filter element by type, for a fixed or portable filter system.
Routinely coordinate and order products for various stock locations.
Drain, clean and fill reservoirs to maintain adequate levels and optimal operations.

Qualifications / Education
High School Diploma with minimum of three (3+) years of related work experience preferred.
Certification as Machinist or Mechanic desirable.
