Description
Responsible for managing a company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and advising on financial matters to support strategic decision-making.
Tasks
Overseeing and managing all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance. Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
Developing and managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and providing forecasts to support business planning. Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Supervising and managing accounting staff, providing training and development opportunities. Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations and tax laws.
Contributing to the development of financial strategies and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications / Education
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in accounting/finance is often expected. Whiile not always required, a CPA designation is often preferred. MBA or Masters in Finance or Accounting
