Description

Responsible for accurately and timely processing employee paychecks, including collecting timekeeping data, calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensuring accurate payroll records

Tasks

Gather and verify employee timekeeping data (e.g., hours worked, overtime, vacation time). Ensure accuracy of employee information (e.g., addresses, tax withholdings). Calculate employee wages, salaries, and deductions based on company policies and tax regulations. Process payroll, including direct deposits and issuing paychecks. Calculate and process overtime, holiday, and vacation pay. Prepare and issue tax forms, such as W-2s and 1099s. Assist with tax filings and reporting. Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records. Organize and file payroll documents. Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and procedures. 

Qualifications / Education

High School Diploma
