Description
Lead and manage a sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets, develop and implement sales strategies, coach and train sales representatives, and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth
Tasks
Develop and implement sales strategies that consider the strengths of the sales team. Recruit, hire, and train new sales staff. Analyze sales data to determine the effectiveness of sales strategies. Provide training and coaching to help sales staff improve performance. Manage house accounts and aid in prospecting. Set goals, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team. Monitor and analyze team performance metrics. Identify and solve roadblocks and problems. Provide technical assistance to the sales team. Conduct existing price reviews and set pricing on all new part quotes generated by estimating
Qualifications / Education
Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Strive to achieve APMI PMT Certification Level 1 within 10 years of service
