Description

Provide technical assistance with Production Manager, HR Manager, Quality Manager, and Molding Supervisor to organize personnel, safety, and job assignments for assigned shifts and to produce the highest quality product in a timely and efficient manner.

Tasks

Follow procedures for weekly start up and/or shut down of manufacturing facility. Review each day’s production with department supervisors and/or previous shift supervisor to establish workload priorities.  Assign workload responsibilities and lunch breaks to shift personnel. Supervise, train, and evaluate personnel in their job functions, including necessary safety precautions.  Requisition of supplies, tooling or equipment maintenance.  Review and approve accuracy of job cards for costing purposes. Follow all safety precautions and emergency procedures when necessary.  Assure departments are clean and orderly. Monitor paperwork and part production for compliance to ISO/TS 16949 standards.

Qualifications / Education

High School Diploma. At least 5 years experience in manufacturing with solid understanding of pm.  Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills requirement. Fork lift certified.
