Description
Write, modify, and test code to create and maintain software applications, ensuring they function correctly and efficiently.
Tasks
Translate designs and requirements into computer instructions (code) using various programming languages. They rigorously test the code to identify and fix errors (bugs) to ensure the software functions as intended. They update and improve existing software applications, making them more user-friendly and efficient. They analyze problems and develop solutions through coding, often collaborating with other IT professionals and stakeholders.
Qualifications / Education
IT certification from technical school or degree in related field. Industry certifications in specific programming required
