Description

Provide for the effective operation of all plant operations while providing leadership and oversight for the areas of quality, engineering, maintenance, and production.  Develop a long-range plan to provide continual improvement to all plant production and production support activities.

Tasks

Meet customer expectations through planning activities and by directing the workforce as required. Anticipate and solve any production related problems. Handling and resolving employee personnel issues through interaction with individual employees, supervisors, and /or the H/R Department. Personnel performance evaluations for subordinates. Monitoring continual improvement activities. Assist in root cause analysis of any quality related issues. Evaluate and direct Corrective Actions relating to production and production support areas. Provide training for all personnel. System performance reporting and evaluation. Direct production control area to insure on time delivery of product to customer. Direct all production support areas (quality, maintenance, engineering, production control, etc…) to meet or exceed all customer expectations. Enforcement of Safety & Environmental Policies. Develop production related policies and procedures. Meet performance to goals objectives

Qualifications / Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or equivalent education or experience. MBA Preferred.  Minimum 5 year’s management experience in manufacturing environment. Good communication, presentation, organization, and management skills. Knowledge of automotive standards, problem solving techniques, and quality theory. Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements
