Oversee daily operations of the machine shop by leading machinists, ensuring production targets are met, quality standars are maintained and the shop operates efficiently and safely while managing personnel and resources
Tasks
Oversee the daily operations of the CNC machine shop, ensuring that all work is completed on time, to specification, and within budget. Manage a team of skilled machinists, providing guidance and support to ensure they can achieve their full potential.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Develop and maintain production plans, coordinating with other departments to ensure that all necessary materials and resources are available when needed.
Monitor the quality of output, implementing corrective actions where necessary to maintain our high standards. Ensure that all machinery and equipment are maintained in good working order, scheduling regular inspections and maintenance as required.
Uphold all health and safety regulations, creating a safe and positive work environment for all staff.

Qualifications / Education
Extensive knowledge of CNC machining and programming. Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
