Description
To support consistent product flow and continuous improvement in the evaluation of finished product, product acceptance for secondary operations and initial samples by providing inspection, accurate gauging, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) capabilities on a regularly scheduled basis.
Tasks
Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of completed assemblies or products. Use specialized inspection tools, forms, and checklists to ensure compliance with standards.
Identify and document any defects or deviations from specifications. Maintain detailed records of inspections, including results, findings, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit inspection reports to relevant personnel. Verify that products meet customer-specific requirements and industry standards. Identify and address potential quality issues before products are released for shipment.
