Description
Responsible for ensuring that components meet established quality standards by monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and identifying and resolving quality issues throughout the manufacturing cycle
Tasks
Investigate causes of discrepant material identified in the process (internal and supplier generated).
Consistently maintain accurate and detailed information of non-conforming material and the discrepant material reports.
Take corrective and preventative actions (establish root cause of non-conformance, provide interim and long term corrective action and establish quantitative measures, audit length and track effectiveness of corrective actions).
Monitor supplier and quality development.

Qualifications / Education
High School Diploma. Strong communication skills. Blueprint, SPC and GD&T Training. Thorough knowledge of quality theory and automotive standards (ISO 9001, TS 16949, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA) and Internal auditor training
