Description
To manage the Commission’s Loan Department and administer economic lending programs to meet the financing needs of businesses and entrepreneurs within the six-county region.
Tasks
- Oversee loan portfolio management and administration of various Revolving Loan Funds and programs.
- Design and implement loan policies, procedures, and borrowing requirements within funding parameters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, banks, and partners to promote lending opportunities.
- Meet with potential borrowers to assess financing needs, eligibility, and provide referrals.
- Structure loan requests to ensure compliance, working with lending institutions for private financing.
- Underwrite loan applications and prepare credit proposals for the Loan Review Committee’s review.
- Supervise program staff, monitor performance, provide guidance, and support professional development.
Qualifications / Education
Education – Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
Experience – 5 years experience in credit analysis/loans/mortgages and legal lending practices.
