Description
Efficient and timely set-up of designated molding presses for production of quality product
Tasks
Assure powder and tools are correct and free from cracks and chips for the next set-up.
Assure paperwork is available and documented.
Tear out previous tooling from specified molding press after production run is complete and return to tool room.
Clean excess powder, oil or grease from press.
Set-up tooling for next production run and assure all safegaurding is properly in place.
After set-up, run 50 to 100 pieces to warm up the die, then check wights, size and visual appearance and document measurements.
Perform required adjustments during production run. Requisition of tooling or equipment maintenance.
Assure your area is clean and tools are replaced at end of set-up. Inspect molder looking for items requiring maintenance.

Qualifications / Education
High School diploma. Forklift certified. Blueprint reading and SPC training.
