Description

Assess and treat individuals and families with mental health disorders, to maximize functioning in the community. Activities may include individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention, and education.

Tasks

  • Provides therapeutic interventions to help consumers and families overcome challenges.
  • Develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on consumer needs.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and documents client progress toward therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborates with internal and external resources to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a closely related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred,
  • Valid driver's license.
