Description
The Children's Prevention & Assessment Program Director is directly responsible for the day to day operations of the following programs: LIFE/Incredible Years (IY), Student Assistance Program (SAP), and the Signs of Suicide? (SOS) Prevention Program. These programs provide prevention and assessment services to children and adolescents in Elk and Cameron Counties. The Program Director supervises staff, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, monitors financial performance, and ensures that services delivered meet agency and regulatory standards.
Tasks
- Monitor program finances; seek referrals to maintain consistent census.
- Collect and track data to secure funding for program sustainability.
- Stay current on regulatory changes impacting program or industry.
- Manage staffing: hiring, onboarding, training, assignments, supervision, evaluations, discipline, terminations.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or related Human Service field.
- 5 years of experience working with children/adolescents and families.
- Valid driver's license.
