Description
Responsible for the direct supervision and operation for the assigned staff in Peer Support, C.O.P,E Drop-In Center and Decision Support Center (DSC). This is done in coordination with the Program Director. day to day operations for a specific caseload of the Peer Support, Drop-In Center, and Decision Support Center. The peer support program provides specialized therapeutic interactions conducted by self-identified in individuals of mental health services, to adults with a diagnosis of serious mental illness, in 7 counties. The C.O.P.E Drop-In-Center program provides a safe and social environment for adults with Mental Health Diagnosis and individuals who are Intellectual developmentally disabled, in Elk and Cameron Counties. Is responsible for coordinating monthly Decision Support Center (DSC)leadership meeting, collect data, and monitors the day-to-day operation of the DSC and DSC peer staff. Tracks monthly statistics and Personal Medicine/Power Statement Fidelity. Supervises staff, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures that services delivered meet agency and regulatory standards.
Tasks
- Implement and follow Peer Support, C.O.P.E., DSC regulations and program requirements.
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting the program and industry.
- Coordinate DSC leadership meetings; monitor monthly events, Personal Medicine, and Fidelity.
- Participate in individual/team meetings and supervision with Program Director.
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation, including Individual Support plans and progress notes.
Qualifications / Education
- Mental health professional who has completed the Department-approved CPS Supervisory training.
- Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, or related discipline from a program that is accredited by an agency recognized by the USDOE or the CHEA.
- 2 years of mental health direct service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of mental health direct service experience.
- Peer Specialist Supervisory Training Curriculum preferred, but must be obtained within 6 months of assuming the position of Peer Support Supervisor.
- Valid driver's license.
