Long-Term Structured Residences (LTSR) Supervisor

Description

Provides direct support, supervision and guidance to the residents. Directly interacts with residents for support of adult daily living skills, social skills, and behavior management. Supervises and schedules the behavioral health technicians according to census ratio requirements. Activities may include supportive counseling, skill development, recreational interactions, crisis intervention, behavior management, time management of the daily schedule for residents, supervision of a variety of activities, advocacy, documentation of behaviors and information, reporting of behaviors and progress toward goals, supervision of behavioral health technicians, and scheduling of staff to ensure coverage.

Tasks

  • Collaborate with internal and external supports to meet resident needs.
  • Keep treatment team informed on resident behaviors, needs, and progress.
  • Assist with admissions and orient new residents to the program.
  • Train and orient new staff on program rules and schedules.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School diploma with 7 years of mental health experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field with 3 years of mental health experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in behavioral health preferred.
  • Experience in residential, corrections, or hospital setting considered.
  • Experience in psychiatric rehabilitation services, certified peer support services, substance abuse services, forensic services, and/or crisis intervention services considered.
