Description

Assists the consumer with obtaining and maintaining community based competitive employment by providing job development, on-the-job training and ongoing support services.

Tasks

  • Maintain billable rate at or above productivity standards.
  • Ensure accurate, timely completion and submission of program paperwork.
  • Conduct one-on-one job training and site assessments.
  • Develop employment plans, teach job skills, recruit employers, and evaluate individuals.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of ACRE or CESP certification required for job coaching within the first 180 days of employment.
  • This training certification then must be updated every three years in order to maintain required certification for employment specialist position.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proof of current vehicle insurance with coverage limits of $100,000/person, $300,000/accident.
