Description

Provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support service to the residents of the LTSR using trauma informed and recovery oriented interventions according to the individual treatment plan. Activities may include individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, activities of daily living, resident advocacy, prevention, collaboration with external systems and education.

Tasks

  • Collaborate with supports for intake, discharge, and monthly treatment meetings.
  • Conduct psycho-social assessments of new residents for comprehensive evaluations.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support mental health and restore competency.
  • Develop and adjust treatment plans based on resident needs and team input.

Qualifications / Education

  • Master’s level degree or higher in generally recognized clinical discipline and one (1) year of mental health clinical experience.
  • Registered, licensed or certified if profession is governed by such a board in the Commonwealth.
