Description

Responsible for the supervision of the program, the individuals, and employees

Tasks

  • Maintain care and appearance of program, agency equipment, and vehicles ensuring safety.
  • Ensure a safe environment and compliance with the agency’s Compliance Plan.
  • Treat subordinates with courtesy and respect, using sound management principles.
  • Maintain records of allowances, recreation funds, and program expenses as needed.
  • Ensure client activities are creative and meet individual needs where applicable.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in sociology, social welfare, physical education, vocational rehabilitation, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or any other human service or social service related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with persons with mental or physical disabilities is preferred.
