Description
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Community Residential, Lifesharing and ADT programs. These programs provide residential and day program services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Potter County. The Community Programs Director supervises staff, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, monitors financial performance, and ensures that services delivered meet agency and regulatory standards.
Tasks
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting the program and industry.
- Collaborate professionally with families, providers, MH/IDD, licensing, and stakeholders.
- Manage and assist in consumer care; provide direct services when needed.
- Perform admin tasks: monitor billing, complete payroll, conduct chart reviews timely.
Qualifications / Education
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disability. ,
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disability.
- Associate's degree or 60 credit hours form an accredited college or university and 4 years work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disability,
- MCR minimum experience and training required: 2 years of professional level experience in the MH/IDD field and a Bachelor's.
- 5 years working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a combined direct care or supervisory capacity preferred, 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Medication administration certification preferred.
- Capacity to pass instructor courses for medication administration.
- First aid, and CPR.
