Description

Responsible for implementing the planning and delivery of comprehensive clinical and consultative psychological services using established professional standards of care within the scope of his/her training and experience.  The Psychologist assists in the clinical development of new services and through educational activities strengthens the quality of the department and community services.

Tasks

  • Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments to evaluate a patient’s mental health.
  • Offer individual or group therapy sessions to help patients cope with mental health issues.
  • Create personalized treatment plans for patients based on their assessments and goals.
  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Provide emotional support to patients for them to navigate challenges in their personal or professional lives.

Qualifications / Education

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited university
  • Two years experience in behavioral health setting
