Maintenance Mechanic

Responsible for the repair of all fixtures and equipment of the facility (Jefferson Manor, Court and Suites). Keeps the grounds of the facility neat and orderly. Keeps all driveways and walkways clear and in usable condition, transports residents to and from appointments and functions, and keeps in repair all buildings pertaining to the facility.

• Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
• Diagnose issues and complete equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Respond to equipment-related emergencies and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Report equipment status and issues to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols.

• Have ability to work flexible hours
• Have good communication skills
• Have an eighth grade reading level
• Have prior food service experience (preferred)
• Have ability to pass Criminal Background Check
• Have ability to meet physical requirements of position
• Be a team player
