Description

Responsible to determine type and degree of hearing impairment and implements habilitation and rehabilitation services for patient by performing the following duties: Provides array of services related to assessment of patients with vestibular impairments.  Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services by assessing and treating infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric hearing, balance, and communication disorders

Tasks

  • Administer a variety of audiological tests to assess patients' hearing abilities.
  • Interpret test results to diagnose hearing and balance disorders and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Assist patients with the fitting and adjustment of hearing aids or other auditory devices.
  • Educate patients about their hearing or balance conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.

Qualifications / Education

  • Doctorate (Au.D) or Master’s Degree in Audiology
  • Valid PA licensed Audiologist
  • Minimum of 2 years audiologist/hearing instrument specialist experience
  • Must Pass Praxis Exam in Audiology
