Description
The Hardwood Sales Manager represents Collins in an outside sales and technical role with an emphasis on promoting our quality, stewardship, customer service and integrity.
Tasks
- Research and generate new accounts, follow sales leads, and build strong customer relationships.
- Monitor customer performance vs. goals and set targets by product or sub-product as needed.
- Manage total cost to customer by optimizing freight and inventory formulas with internal staff.
- Set and monitor sales and cost budgets for self and hardwood sales team; adjust as needed.
- Coordinate with Operations to implement and revise the sales plan effectively.
- Support strategic marketing and communicate the value of focused sales initiatives.
- Lead and motivate the sales team while upholding high ethical, professional, and leadership standards.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelorās degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience directly related to wood product sales.
