Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor supervises maintenance department and boiler department programs, processes, and personnel in a wood products manufacturing facility.

• Plan, schedule, and supervise mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs for the facility.
• Lead a safe work environment by training, motivating, and setting safety examples for employees.
• Engage in ongoing education to improve maintenance processes and work procedures.
• Promote communication and teamwork between departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Process employee time and attendance reports; perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Lead and mentor maintenance and boiler staff; manage performance per company policies.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to build a high-performing, accountable maintenance team.

• Knowledge of computer and preventative maintenance systems.
• Ability to provide own basic tools.
• Prior experience as a maintenance supervisor or lead in a wood products manufacturing facility, including work on sawmill machinery, steam systems, kilns, boiler, dust collection, and fire prevention systems.
