Bridge Crane Operator

The Bridge Crane Operator operates an overhead crane to move lumber packs from racks to outfeed lumber decks.

• Follow all safety rules at all times and report or correct any safety hazards found on the job.
• Stack lumber in bunks accurately and produce proper identification tags for each pack.
• Band lumber packs using appropriate banding tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform equipment startup/shutdown checks and complete required weekly PM inspections.
• Report any manufacturing defects or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficient operations.
• Complete other assigned duties; regular on-site attendance is essential for job performance.

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Ability to follow all company, state and federal safety rules when performing required job duties.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history check and a pre-employment drug screening.
