Description
Responsible for routine maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment and grounds.
Tasks
- Maintain and repair buildings, equipment, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Supervise Maintenance Assistant/Driver and oversee daily maintenance tasks.
- Manage groundskeeping, snow removal, and ensure overall facility security.
- Conduct monthly safety checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and ensure preventative care is completed on schedule.
- Manage woodshop production including pallets, boards, and other contracted items.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies and uphold agency policies and safety standards.
Qualifications / Education
- High school graduate or equivalent and preferred five years’ experience in the building maintenance field.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of all generally accepted building and grounds maintenance standards. Demonstrate written, verbal and organizational skills.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Personal qualifications include the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, deal with changing priorities, attention to detail, leadership, supervisory abilities and the ability to work in a team environment with all levels of the organization.
- Must have reliable transportation.
