Description
Responsible for the clinical and administrative management of the Long Term Structured Residential Treatment Facility (LTSR). Duties include the supervision and mentoring of clinical and direct care professionals who provide treatment and support services to individuals with mental health needs in the LTSR; budget development and monitoring; enforcement and monitoring of regulatory requirements; and direction of overall program operation. The incumbent will maintain a focus on mental health recovery approaches through leadership by example, coaching and the development of programmatic systems that promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Tasks
- Confidently manages staff and program operations aligned with mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Monitors services, staffing, space, resources, and contracts to ensure efficient program operation.
- Reports on client outcomes, satisfaction, and quality; troubleshoots issues quickly and effectively.
- Available to manage after-hours emergencies; develops team competence across all shifts.
- Provides clinical leadership using up-to-date mental health knowledge and recovery best practices.
- Adheres to budget guidelines; monitors projections, billing accuracy, census, and resolves issues.
- Recruits, trains, supervises, disciplines, and develops diverse staff to maintain quality services.
Qualifications / Education
- Master's level degree in generally recognized clinical discipline and two (2) years of mental health clinical experience
- Registered, licensed or certified if profession is governed by such a board in the Commonwealth
