Description

A SR Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine resident care and support services in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the nurse or physician to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be provided at all times.

Tasks

  • Provide advanced patient care and assist with complex needs.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions promptly.
  • Mentor and train junior CNAs to ensure quality care.
  • Assist with mobility, rehabilitation, and specialized care tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans.
  • Collaborate with nurses and healthcare teams for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications / Education

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • PA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 6 months in a CNA position in a LTC facility
