Description

Responsible to assist the Chief Financial Officer for all accounting aspects of the Agency.

Tasks

  • Manage all agency payables/receivables and purchasing processes.
  • Supervise assigned staff; monitor schedules and support professional growth.
  • Analyze finances and make recommendations to improve agency operations.
  • Prepare and submit invoices for state and federal reimbursement.
  • Process participant payroll and serve as back-up for staff payroll.
  • Maintain fiscal records including W9s, 1099s, wage requests, and audit materials.
  • Ensure adherence to agency policies; handle confidential data with discretion.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with minimum 5 years’ experience preferred.
  • Acceptable combination of education and experience to be considered.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Personal qualifications include the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, deal with changing priorities, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment with all levels of the organization.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
