Description

Helping to monitor, organize, coordinate, and carry out duties related to all aspects of human resources work and processes for the agency. Working directly with and assisting the human resources director to fulfill a variety of necessary tasks. Guiding employees and supervisors through all human resource procedures and answer questions about policies. Maintaining compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations by performing the following duties.

Tasks

  • Work as a team: be supportive, friendly, keep personal issues separate, and share duties equally.
  • Assist co-workers when requested and welcome new employees with extra support and encouragement.
  • Support employees and supervisors in enforcing agency policies and act as liaison with management.
  • Help management with employee concerns: complaints, harassment, and ADA interactive process.
  • Provide education and assistance related to employee relations and policies.
  • Draft job description updates and related documents with guidance from the director.

Qualifications / Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalency and further education in a business related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years human resource experience is required
