Description

The HR Site Partner is a Human Resources professional who will create value for the company by partnering with managers to promote a cohesive working environment. This individual will serve as an HR representative to the Kane, Pennsylvania location, providing knowledge and support to employees of the business unit.

Tasks

  • Maintain a high level of leadership and guidance to the facility by providing consultation to supervisors and the Operations Manager on employee issues.
  • Conduct investigations as needed in regard to violations of company policy.
  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions for the location.
  • Promote and develop positive employee relations by providing direct support to all employees.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of all hourly and salaried staff.
  • Responsible for all affirmative action tracking and reporting for the location.
  • Under the direction of the VP Human Resources, assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the location.
  • Coordinate with the leave carrier to assist employees with filing for state and federal protective leave laws.
  • Responsible for compliance of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the business unit’s safety program to include workers’ compensation claims, safety committee, training, and other as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required by supervisor.
  • On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field. Equivalent experience accepted.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including recruitment, compensation practices, diversity outreach, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Previous management or leadership experience required.
