Description
Overseeing, directing, and doing lead work on projects and repairs as directed by the Vice President of Facility Management. Ensures the work is carried out in a safe and professional manner by performing the following duties.
Tasks
- Direct supervision and management of daily functions of the Maintenance Department.
- Lead work on projects and repairs as directed by VP of Facility Management.
- Work independently in a steady and productive manner.
- Perform routine repair, construction, upkeep, and maintenance of buildings and grounds.
- Use carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills as needed.
- Carry out routine assignments on a scheduled maintenance program.
- Participate in on-call rotation; respond to emergency calls after hours and weekends.
Qualifications / Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior experience or training required
