Description
Overseeing, organizing, directing, and doing lead work on maintenance projects, repairs, and housekeeping for all regions assigned. Overseeing, directing, and doing lead work on various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed. Ensures cleanliness of all facilities. Ensures agency compliance with Joint Commission standards. Ensures the work is conducted in a safe and professional manner by performing the following duties.
Tasks
- Direct supervision and management of daily department functions and staff.
- Lead work on projects and repairs as directed; work independently and productively.
- Perform routine repair, upkeep, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles, equipment.
- Use carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills as needed for repairs.
- Draft and implement routine maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with standards.
- Participate in agency maintenance on-call rotation and respond to emergency calls.
- Respond to after-hours and weekend emergency calls when requested.
Qualifications / Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 5 years prior experience or training required
