Tasks
- Transcribe and type confidential dictation from the system or written materials.
- Edit transcriptions for grammar, spelling, clarity, consistency, and terminology.
- Use medical and language knowledge to transcribe varied accents and dictation styles.
- Identify and correct errors in dictation without changing meaning or style.
- Clarify unclear or incomplete dictation, seeking help when needed.
Qualifications / Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior experience or training in clerical position preferred
