Description
Maintain direct oversight of the releasing and requesting of outpatient consumer medical records. The Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of clerical and billing duties to support various programs.
Tasks
- File agency info for active and discharged clinical records as needed.
- Use computer software for organizing and maintaining medical records.
- Enter demographic data into medical record database accurately.
- Assemble medical records for paper-based programs when required.
- Process patient admission and discharge documents timely and accurately.
Qualifications / Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associateās degree in a business related field preferred
