Description

Responsible for the medical and non-medical management of the individuals served, by assisting the LIP’s in delivering the appropriate care within the PRTF model of the residential setting.

Tasks

  • Direct patient care per prescriber’s schedule to obtain history and nursing assessments for evals.
  • Perform client assessment, record vitals, note changes, investigate, monitor and report to LIPs.
  • Care for patients in residential setting as directed by prescriber.
  • Meet with prescribers and update them on special patient orders.
  • Communicate prescriber order changes to appropriate staff promptly.

Qualifications / Education

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program
  • Hold a certification as a CNA or an EMT
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in mental health recovery
