Description

Responsible for supporting the chief risk officer and director of risk management. This includes but is not limited to implementation of risk management processes; monitoring the organization's enterprise risk management program to assure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will assist in guiding the organization in all risk management, compliance, and quality processes; provide support, education, and training to staff to build risk awareness.

Tasks

  • Confidently educate and direct staff to meet quality standards and the organization's mission.
  • Use current knowledge and best practices to lead staff in legal compliance and issue resolution.
  • Understand state licensure regulations and train staff on updated and new regulatory requirements.
  • Identify quality improvement needs, collect data, and report on performance indicators and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with departments and providers, build consensus, and coordinate resources efficiently.

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor's level degree or equivalent education & experience as determined by agency standards & guidelines of position
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of compliance and quality industry standards
  • Working knowledge of mental health practices within adult and child/adolescent systems
  • Act 33/34/31 and FBI clearances
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during scheduled work hours
